POCA’s newest, coolest, most co-operative member benefit: The POCA Passport

Just in time for our Spring Member Drive, The POCA Membership circle offers our newest coolest, most cooperative member benefit, The POCA Passport.  It won’t get you out of the country, but hopefully it will inspire you to travel to more Community Clinics on (and even off) the LOC page.  Prizes are involved; this is going to be fun!

You can download your POCA Passport now along with all our other great member benefits. It’s easy.
1) Print off your POCA passport.
2) Cut your passport into a booklet.
3) Visit Community Clinics and get your passport stamped.  Signed or stapled works, too.
4) Repeat five more times.

Visit six clinics and redeem your POCA Passport for prizes.  Yes, multiple locations count.  If your home clinic has more than one location, please visit all of their locations.

If you are already a POCAverse traveling rock star and you have already visited six or more clinics there are directions on how go straight to claiming your prizes.  https://www.pocacoop.com/benefits/

Like all things POCA, the Passport was created as a cooperative effort.  All design credit goes to Nicole Maniez at Jersey Community Acupuncture.  Special editing help with the directions goes to Nicole Cox Murray at Beach Community Acupuncture, and Michael Kalebich from POCA Membership Circle and Ad Astra Community Acupuncture.

So, what are we waiting for? Let’s kick off this Membership Drive and let’s travel the POCAverse.

Happy Trails to you!

Conference Keynote: Breaking the Ceiling

The theme for this conference is “Breaking Barriers”. You know, there are so many barriers to break in acupuncture that it was really hard to choose which ones to talk about for this speech. But since I’ve spent so much time talking about classism as a barrier, I thought it might be fun to shift gears a little and talk about numbers.

  1. OMGosh! This sounds like such fun. I often visit other community acupuncture clinics when I travel. I just plan it into my trips. There’s nothing like getting treated by another acupunk. Love this idea!

  2. Nicole, when you click on your username in the top right corner of the website it will take you to the Control Panel. That’s where the member benefits are.

    good question.
